“国际消费者权益日”定于每年的3月15日,最先由年国际消费者联合会于1983年确定,目的在于扩大消费者权益保护的宣传,使之在世界范围内得到重视,促进各国和地区消费者组织之间的合作与交往,在国际范围内更好地保护消费者权益。我国于1988年组织了第一次全国性的“国际消费者权益日” 活动。
History and purpose:
15 March is World Consumer Rights Day (WCRD), an annual occasion for celebration and solidarity within the international consumer movement. It marks the date in 1962 U.S. President John F Kennedy first outlined the definition of Consumer Rights. WCRD was first observed on 15 March 1983.
WCRD is an opportunity to promote the basic rights of all consumers, for demanding that those rights are respected and protected, and for protesting the market abuses and social injustices which undermine them....
