考生要熟知托福文章的宏观框架，从整体上hold住任何一篇考试文章。托福文章结构分为两类，一类是学术论文，以“立论、证据证明、驳论(再立论)”的循环方式打开;另一类是学术说明文，讲授某个科学知识，并不需要驳论，通常以“分类叙述加生动形象的例子展示”，或以“时间轴讲述加生动例子”的方式打开。今天的第一篇和第三篇文章就属于第一类，第二篇文章属于第二类。
篇幅关系，我只讲述第三篇文章Industrial Decline in Seventeenth-century Italy(17世纪意大利工业衰落)的一小段，让考生体会领教一番“极难”文章。
